MISSION

To become the premiere aesthetic surgical society in the country.

VISION

1. To foster, promote, support augment, develop and encourage the science and art of aesthetic surgery,
2. To establish and maintain an academy of members of the medical professions who perform aesthetic surgery in order to assure the public of a consistency of high quality medical care;
3. To establish and promote fellowship in the field of aesthetic surgery and medicine;
4. To establish standards of practice of aesthetic surgery in order to guide practitioners toward the highest quality of medical care in accordance with proper medical ethics;
5. To provide continuing education through journals and other research resources/references, local and international congresses, and anatomic cadaver dissections;
6. To provide a forum for physicians from all specialties practicing aesthetic surgery and medicine in order to develop common goals;
7. To encourage the teaching of aesthetic surgery and to support, encourage and promote scientific research in the science and art of aesthetic surgery;
8. To develop, publish and copy right materials supporting or augmenting advancement of the science and art of aesthetic surgery and the purpose of the academy.
